Wilks Calculator

The original 1994/1997 Wilks coefficients — still widely referenced for comparing lifters across bodyweights.

The Wilks formula was powerlifting’s standard bodyweight-adjusted scoring system for over two decades. This calculator uses the original coefficients — if your federation has moved to the revised 2020 coefficients, use our Wilks 2 Calculator instead.

Which Wilks should you use?

Classic Wilks and Wilks 2 do not produce the same score for the same lifter — always check which version your federation or leaderboard is actually using before comparing numbers. See our full breakdown in DOTS vs Wilks vs IPF GL.
